About the role
The primary responsibility of the Quality manager is to provide leadership for excellence in Quality and Compliance of Essential Home products and processes within the supply/distribution chain, including embellishment.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the BUs in the regional cluster maintain compliance with applicable regulations as appropriate while also supporting and enabling the business to achieve its business objectives. The Manager must work effectively with internal parties, manufacturing sites, third parties, external bodies and corporate personnel.
Your responsibilities
- Provide leadership on continuous improvement projects, quality initiatives, etc. as established by corporate Quality Management
- Work with local functions to develop and maintain all relevant procedures in line with the Global requirements
- Ensure a system is in place to manage local co-packaging to meet all regulatory requirements
- Change Management - Develop and maintain a robust and effective change control system to ensure business changes are effectively managed
- Issue Management - Investigate quality issues (Non-conformances) and failures (Critical Events) and apply Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Tracking of non-conformities, complaints and CAPA
- Tracking and trending of KPIs and regular reporting with improvement plans
- Providing training, education and guidance on Quality requirements to the BUs and 3PLs
- Responsible to self-assess or audit the Reckitt Quality Manual annually in order to ensure compliance and risks.
- Support in audit planning, audit performance and follow up of actions for internal, external, and third-party audits.
- Prepare technical agreements and support review
- Support in quality projects and global deployments
- To be the first contact for 3PLs for any Quality or Supply Related topics
- Supporting day to day quality activities and issues
The experience we're looking for
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality compliance function
- Experience in developing and maintaining a robust QMS
- Auditing skills, appropriate qualifications in auditing an advantage
- Clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy and compliance risks
- Good understanding of regulatory, GMP and GDP requirements relevant to a regulated product
