General Description of the Role
The Global IT Expert, SAP Solution Architect Finance (FICO) is a pivotal role within Campari Group, directly reporting to the Global IT SAP Platform Sr Director. This position champions the global SAP Finance (FICO) landscape, fostering close collaboration with internal IT and Finance departments, as well as external IT partners.
The overarching aim is to refine, standardize, and elevate the SAP FI and CO modules, enhancing financial capabilities, supporting growth, and driving measurable business results.
This Global IT Expert, SAP Solution Architect Finance will strategize global SAP Finance initiatives, formulate future roadmaps, oversee the SAP Finance Delivery Centre, and integrate closely with SAP and its extensive partner ecosystem.
A fusion of strategic vision and in-depth technical expertise is imperative, making this role a cornerstone of Campari Group's OneIT framework.
Engaging with Finance CoE, Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, and other crucial tech platforms in a product-centric environment is crucial.

Team Leadership
- Steer the SAP Finance Delivery Centre, encompassing Technical and Functional FI and CO sectors.
Drive the hiring and development of the team, aiming for an elite SAP Finance crew.
Business Value Realization
- Collaborate with Finance CoEs and stakeholders to align visions and implement transformative SAP solutions.
- Promote inter-departmental alignment to maximize platform advantages.
- Broaden the SAP Finance ecosystem, acting as the primary touchpoint for global solutions.
Project Management
- Drive the delivery of SAP Finance streams, coordinating with both in-house teams and external partners.
- Outline detailed project plans in alignment with Campari OneIT's overarching strategy.
Partner Management
- Strengthen ties with SAP, maximizing benefits from global collaborations.
- Lead RFP initiatives to identify and onboard SAP Finance tech partners.
Technology Leadership
- Oversee and refine the SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring compatibility with vital Finance systems.
- Dictate the design strategy of the SAP Finance landscape, centring on essential processes and functions.
- Expertise in SAP Fiori (SAP Finance): gain deep knowledge of SAP Fiori, focusing on its application in Finance. Provide guidance on SAP Fiori features within the SAP Finance module.
Best Practices

Experience & Education
- A minimum of 8-10 years in SAP Finance roles, primarily FI and CO.
- Experience in global corporate environments is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, IT, or Computer Science.
