To lead our Italian Operations team we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimising our Operations to support continued business growth.
Not only will you be leading the Operations department, you will also be a member of our Country Management team, working with senior leaders on delivering long term business strategies.

What is your role?
Lead the development and implementation of multi-year plans for such an important area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with the wider company strategy.
You will lead teams and oversee operations activities and ensure excellent partnering relationships with internal clients;
You will manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team. The team consists of about 70 people (permanent and temporary workers) among which 5 direct reports;
You will ensure that we comply with HSE legislation and promote a safety first culture within the site;
You will be responsible of the processes involved in transportation to ensure our customers’ satisfaction, minimize costs and delivery times;
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site maintenance, statutory compliance and the general upkeep of the building and grounds.
Who are you?
Demonstrated success in managing logistics function;
Experience in facilities management and transport;
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, safe systems and compliance requirements;
Strong leadership and team management abilities with advanced communication skills;
Ability to analyse data and monitor KPIs and drive performance;
Problem solving mindset with the ability to make quick informed decisions when required;
Excellent business English skills (B2/C1 level).
