The position is based in our HQ in Rome.
The mission for the role of LG Graphic Designer is to support the creative design, development, and execution of the graphics and prints for the leather goods collection. The LG Graphic Designer will work closely with the LG design team to contribute to the successful creation of high-quality leather goods bags.
Job responsibilities
The role will require different skills:
- Creative Graphic Design: The LG Graphic Designer will participate in the creative process, assisting in the development of creative inputs, including researching trends, and creating artwork and graphics on leather goods. They contribute to the visual aesthetic and overall design of the collection developing highly creative graphics and prints through hand-sketching and/or computer illustration.
- Technical skills: The LG Graphic Designer provides technical graphic design support, utilizing software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to refine artwork elements, create color variations, and produce digital placements and renderings. They help ensure that the designs are accurately represented and ready for production;
- Collaboration and Communication: The LG Graphic Designer actively engages with colleagues and participates in meetings related to the progress of activities related to the collection's development;
Profile
The successful candidate is passionate about design and fashion industry. The following attributes are key to cover the role successfully:
- Master's degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the prints or graphics fields;
- Excellent hand illustration and visual composition skills, with a keen aesthetic sensibility;
- Proficiency in using design software is a must, with excellent knowledge of the Adobe package, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator;
- Knowledge of materials, as well as of different printing processes, specifically on leather goods;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Proactive and responsible attitude; Proficiency in spoken/written Italian and English.
