In Italy we have 42 Operational Bases, approximately 742 dedicated personnel and approximately 64 aircraft. We provide Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Search and Rescue (SAR), Firefighting (FF) Offshore and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO)
Reporting to the Operations Director (OD), the RW OCC Manager is responsible for the management and development of the function, integrating the standards and processes for the relevant division. He/she is responsible for the service level and information flows in support of the OD as well as for interfacing constantly with the operational coordination functions. He/she provides, in cooperation with the Flight and Tech Operations Departments, the correct sizing of the aircrew workforce, coordinates the movements of operational personnel and the processing of the Pilots’ rosters under the supervision of the FOPH and TCM and the technicians’ roster under the supervision of TCM, Technical Director and Line Coordinator.

Responsibilities and Activites:
- Manage the Operational Control Centre (H24/7), including the organisation, welfare and discipline of personnel, providing training where necessary to meet current or future business needs
- Ensure the highest achievable standards of flight safety, efficiency and quality.
- Ensure the publication of the pilot’s roster
- Ensure the publication of the line technician’s roster
- Ensure that all operational staff are fully aware of the company's Operations Manual, procedures and emergency response plan
- Lead regular meetings as the Daily Check in Meeting, and update the dashboard of operational and technical KPIs
- Daily supervision of the OCC and manage staff rosters, including departmental leave shifts, to ensure adequate coverage of company operations
- Prepare reports for the Flight and Technical Operations Management (monthly and daily reports)
- Perform capacity analysis and manpower planning, identifying operational bottlenecks and defining resolution plans to ensure continuity of operations (both short and long term)
- Support ATO Manager and CT Manager organizing and managing Training activity
- Responsible for monitoring Flight Time Limitations, including ensuring that all crew duty rosters are maintained in accordance with the approved system. However, overall responsibility remains with the Flight Operations Manager
- In the event of emergencies, he/she oversees activating all necessary actions as provided by the ERP
- Provide monthly reports to the payroll department instrumental in processing pay slips
- Provide information support to the company stakeholders and Industrial Relations
- Ensure systems are updated in the event of roster changes
- Coordinate the Travel Team to ensure the regular and efficient organization of personnel movements across operational sites
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and actively seek opportunities to simplify processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Operate in full compliance with applicable regulations, company and group policies and processes
Technical skills:
- Good knowledge of aviation standards and regulations (EASA/ENAC)
- Good knowledge of quality and people management (QMS etc.)
- Economic skills for the preparation and management of the budget of area of responsibility
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure in dynamic operational environments
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power Point, preferrable also SAP
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Economic skills to predispose budget, reporting and KPIs
- Good Command in English
- Knowledge of activity-specific IT tools (crew rostering, planning etc. i.e. Airmaestro)
