Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to coordinate and deliver initiatives related to onboarding and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) process improvements. The role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of the Italian regulatory landscape, and a focus on operational excellence and compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital innovation, ensure high-quality service delivery, and contribute to the benchmarking and standardization of onboarding processes across the Nexi Group.
Key Responsibilities- Project & Process Management
- Plan, manage, and execute projects to enhance onboarding and AML processes across the Italian market.
- Ensure alignment with overall transformation goals and delivery timelines.
- Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Support the benchmarking and standardization of onboarding processes within the Nexi Group.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all onboarding processes are compliant with Italian KYC and AML regulations.
- Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to monitor regulatory changes and proactively adjust procedures.
- Technology & Digitalization
- Support implementation of digital onboarding and eKYC tools tailored to the Italian customer base.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI-based improvements in customer verification processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as liaison between local business units, compliance, operations, and central transformation teams.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and regulatory bodies in Italy.
- Support training and change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Performance Monitoring
- Define and monitor KPIs such as onboarding cycle time, regulatory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Report project progress and risks to senior management, with clear mitigation plans.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in project management, onboarding operations, or compliance in the financial services or payments industry.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Italian financial market and regulatory framework (including AML/KYC).
- Languages: Fluent in Italian and English.
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; familiarity with digital tools and automation in onboarding.
- Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
