You will work with the Plant Quality Manager in challenging project and activities in our plant in Merlino (Lodi).
Your activities
- You will manage all product certifications/homologation and keep their renewal with the support of R&D department.
- You will work on all quality documentation (i.e. ITP/QCP, Type Test, certifications) during customer offer/orders processes.
- Supervise all quality control/assurance aspects of the process (raw materials, production, finished product, testing) ensuring that standards are met and reports potential issues either with product or quality system is going to be part of your job.
- You will define the quality control plans for different product families according to existing standards and specific customer requirements. Guarantee the correct application of work instructions and quality control plans.
- You will plan, carry out and follow up Process Audits both internal and to Suppliers. Manage visits/audits by Customers and Certification bodies.
- Support the plant for customer claims management, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Analyze internal non conformities, define corrective actions with related follow-up and quality KPIs, apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) and identify areas of improvement.
- You will play an active role in improvement teams aimed at reducing internal non-conformities and relevant costs.
- Write and revise standard operating procedures according to QMS requirements.
- May liaise with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards.
- Manage quality training activities.
Experience and Background
- Proven work experience in quality, in industrial / manufacturing contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree: Engineering
- You speak Italian and English fluently
- You have a solid nowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and you will be able to train and guide colleagues on quality matters
- You are customer oriented, you have proactive attitude and being able to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
- Ability to understand the context of the work environment and respond with flexibility to the needs of the actual situation.
