Role and Responsibilities

The Risk & Company Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting Samsung Electronics Italia in identifying, assessing, and mitigating internal operational risks, and ensuring full adherence to Samsung corporate compliance standards, internal policies, and governance frameworks.Working closely with both the local team and Samsung’s Corporate Compliance Office, this role ensures that all business activities in Italy are conducted with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and operational excellence, while aligning with global risk and compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk ManagementIdentify, assess, and monitor internal operational and Company risks.Support the implementation of Samsung’s global risk management framework at local level.

Collaborate with business functions to embed risk awareness into operational processes.

Company ComplianceEnsure full compliance with internal policies, and corporate governance guidelines.Act as a point of contact for compliance-related queries within Samsung Electronics Italia.Monitor adherence to internal procedures.Support the roll-out and adoption of new global policies, adapting them to the Italian business context.Organize and deliver compliance training sessions to employees.Governance & ReportingPrepare periodic risk and compliance reports for local management and Samsung Corporate.Support internal audits and corporate reviews, ensuring readiness and effective follow-up on findings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, incidents, and corrective actions.Liaise with Corporate Compliance to ensure alignment on priorities, processes, and reporting standards.What we need for this roleBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications in compliance/risk management are a plus).3–5 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or corporate compliance (preferably within a multinational environment).Solid understanding of corporate governance principles and risk management frameworks.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and cultures.High ethical standards, discretion, and integrity.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with risk/compliance management tools.Fluent in English and Italian (both written and spoken).Integrity and trustworthiness in managing sensitive information.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.Commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
