What You Can Expect :
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with assigned sales targets and geographic responsibilities
- Achieve high win-rates and generate strong gross profit margins across new and existing customer accounts
- Develop and execute local sales strategies in collaboration with the Branch Manager and Area Sales Manager
- Explore and develop new vertical markets at local and national levels.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing engagement and trust-building
- Lead client presentations and act as the primary negotiator to close deals.
- Design and propose tailored logistics solutions that align with the customer’s strategic goals
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product Management, Operations, Billing, Indoor Sales) to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Contribute to pricing strategy discussions with Product and Country Management Teams
- Regularly document sales activities and customer insights in MS Dynamics CRM.
- Monitor risks and opportunities, always acting in the best interest of Rhenus Air & Ocean
- Participate actively in all required sales training and development initiatives
What You Bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in outdoor sales within the Air & Ocean Freight logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of logistics market dynamics, products, services, and sales methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and develop long-term customer partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics CRM or similar platforms
- Fluency in Italian and professional English (spoken and written)
