This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization of Motors & Generators and their customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.
The work model for the role is: #Hybrid
This role is contributing to Motion Business area in Italy. Main stakeholders are customers and internal colleagues working in sales roles.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists regarding ABB Motors.
Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders
Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Qualifications for the role
Experience in sales support, technical sales, or customer service within the industrial or electrical engineering sector
Knowledge of electric motors and related technologies is considered a plus
Proficiency in relevant tools and platforms (e.g., SAP, CRM systems).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is considered a plus
Fluency in Italian and English
