We’re looking for a Senior Software Testing Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of our Product Data Management (PDM) software applications. These applications are used in regulated healthcare environments where quality and compliance are critical.

This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both from our collaborative office space and remotely from home.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and specifications for testability and provide feedback to improve their clarity and completeness
• Define and document test scenarios and cases aligned with software requirements and system functionalities
• Design and execute verification test protocols and document results
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results
• Identify, document, and track software anomalies and support root cause analysis
• Contribute to the definition of test strategies for complex features, including the identification of required test environments, tools, and interfaced systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and product teams to ensure complete and accurate verification coverage
• Report testing activities, results and anomalies using tools such as Azure DevOps

The Individual

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in software testing for desktop applications and distributed systems, ideally within regulated industries such as medical devices.
• Proven track record of creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices covering functional, non-functional, UI, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms for test planning, execution, defect tracking, and continuous integration.
• Skilled in analyzing application logs, network traces (Wireshark/Fiddler), and system event logs to support root cause analysis and fast issue resolution.
• Strong ability to verify client-server communication, including HTTP/S, REST APIs, and socket-level protocols within networked healthcare systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and executing complex T-SQL queries for data validation, test data preparation, and backend testing.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, and cybersecurity principles, such as firewalls, proxies, access control, TLS/SSL, and endpoint protection.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification (or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in English is essential for daily collaboration.
