What you will do
As a Solar Cell Assembler at CESI S.p.A., your main responsibilities will include:
Assemble solar cells using manual processes as well as automatic or semi-automatic machinery (e.g., welding equipment, resin dispensing robots, etc.)- Cut and shape metallic interconnectors
- Align and solder interconnectors to solar cells and diodes
- Perform coverglassing of cells by applying resin and aligning glass covers with cells
- Clean solar cells to ensure product integrity
- Conduct visual inspections to verify compliance of assembled cells using appropriate measuring tools (e.g., microscopes, scales, electroluminescence systems)
- Follow safety guidelines and comply with cleaning and cleanroom procedures (ISO class 7-8)
- Complete technical documentation and production traceability records in both paper and digital formats
- Basic use of computer and production management software (including Use of OFFICE package)
- Monitor process parameters and report any anomalies or deviations
- Collaborate with shift managers and product quality to improve processes and resolve non-conformities
- Operate various measuring instruments, including microscopes, scales, and electrical testers

What you bring
Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:
Experience & Knowledge
- Technical Diploma (Mechanical, Electronic, Chemical or similar) or Scientific Degree
- Preferred title: previous experience in microelectronics or cleanroom
- English - minimum level required: A2
- Shift work (day/night)
Skills and competences
- Working in a cleanroom environment: the use of appropriate PPE (gowns, mask shoes and gloves) is required
- Precision and sense of responsibility
- Respect for hierarchy
- Ability to work in teams and regulated environments
- Focus on quality and adherence to deadlines
- Understanding of technical documentation
- Good dexterity and precision in the execution of tasks
