About the role:

As a Sr. Maintenance technician, you will execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities for GMP and non-GMP equipment and systems at the Pisa site. You will perform maintenance activities, accordingly to EHS and GMP rules, in order to maintain Pisa Site equipment/system in perfect condition.

How you will contribute:

  • Document maintenance activities accordingly to Site Regulations

  • Ensure good communication with colleagues, from other functions or internal function, for reporting on technical issue

  • Guarantee correct reporting in order to making correct time delivery of spare parts for equipment and system on Pisa Site

  • Responsible for maintaining documentation correctly archived

  • Drives the forklift to move necessary materials in the plant

  • Guarantee correct reporting and interface with supplier for trouble shooting and maintenance services organization

  • Carry out maintenance of the workshop environments and tools

  • Provide and ensure support for critical spare parts analysis and preventive maintenance plan of new installation equipment and systems, collaborating with plant engineering and reliability engineering

  • Ensure adherence to GMP’s and standard operative procedures

  • Ensures full compliance with all company policies, EHS rules and authority regulations

  • Manifest previous experience in industrial maintenance

  • Guides, coordinates and controls, in conditions of autonomy, teams of workers who carry out jobs and operations

  • Support and interact with cross-functional team for problem solving and technical implementation / assessment

  • Spirit of collaboration and ability to adapt proposing alternative and/or innovative solutions

What you bring to Takeda:

  • High school certification in technical discipline (preferred electrical, electronic, automation diploma) or Secondary School Technical Diploma;

  • Previous experience in this role or equivalent within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry

  • Able to read electrical diagrams, PLC basic knowledge, PES/PEI Analytical skills with systematic approaches to problem solving

  • GDP and GMP Regulations knowledge

  • English basic knowledge

  • High theoretical-practical knowledge pertaining to all activities relating to one or more specializations of competence (mechanical, electrical and electronic)
