GENERAL ROLE
The Stock Operations Supervisor leads the stock operations team to ensure the quality of service to customers through an accurate and reliable management of the store stocks, with a continuous improvement approach in strict compliance with Group and local procedures. The ideal candidate will act as a role model and will represent Hermès as an Ambassador, inspiring his colleagues to portray and embrace Hermès values.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Stock Operations Management and Control
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and controls for a perfect stock accuracy;
- Perform accurate stock takes & cycle counts.
Continuous process improvement
- Implement an optimized organization of stock spaces;
- Stock-related procedures;
- Be aware of omnichannel sales processes and product assortment in order to understand implications on operations activities;
- Be a reference point for their expertise and problem solving competence, supporting other colleagues in complex activities.
People Management
- Lead the stock operations team, composed by senior stock controllers, stock controllers and stock supports;
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching, supporting the professional and personal development of the stock operations team;
- Create a positive sense of team spirit, discipline and mutual respect, encouraging open communication;
- Support the store management in setting objectives and assigning tasks to the store team;
- Work in constant cooperation with the store teams: Sales Teams, Sales & Service Support Team;
- Support other colleagues developing their expertise and skills.
PROFILE
- University Degree, preferably with an analytical focus;
- Fluency in Italian and English. A third language will be considered an advantage;
- Professional background: in a stock and coordination position, preferably in the Retail environment;
- Proficient with Excel / IT tools;
- Have excellent leadership attitude and ability to lead and motivate a team;
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, ease of integration and teamwork complete the profile.
