Job Description
You will be offered an initial internship contract of 6 months. Based on a performance review of your activities and objectives achieved over the initial period, you will have the opportunity to join us as a long-term employee.
Within your first weeks you will receive a full training on the job in order to build your competencies that will render you independent. We expect also pro-activity to identify potential areas of optimization and present your suggestions in a structured manner to the Chief Financial Officer.
Main tasks:
- Step by step you will take on several activities that are part of the main duties in an Accounting role, bringing your invaluable contribution to our daily operations:
- Posting transactions in accounting software (Microsoft Navision) and maintaining accounting records
- Execute day to day accounting activities related to accounts payable and general accounting for the Company;
- Support the Senior Accountant on arising accounting issues or anomalies promptly highlighting them;
- Support the Back Office team to manage the requests received from customers regarding payments and other accounting related documents;
- Support the financial statements closing and audit process, including preparation of materials and coordination with the external audit team;
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Economics, Accounting or similar (Master degree is a plus);
- Fluent in Italian; good knowledge of English;
- Advanced skills in Excel and Outlook
- Good understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations;
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles;
- Accuracy and attention to details;
- Ability to simultaneously control multiple tasks;
- Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and priorities;
