SodaStream is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and service oriented Accounting Operations Associate Accountant, who enjoys challenges and will proactively contribute to our growing team. The Financial Accountant is an all-round financial position aimed at providing financial insights by creating financial analyses and reports. Responsibilities
What will you do? As as Accounting Operations Associate Accountant at SodaStream, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely together with the full finance team on the month-end close, ensuring reporting deadlines are met for all countries in scope
- Give support to the Italian market’s financial administration and administrative procedures, within the set procedures and guidelines
- Bank processing
- Accounts Receivables
- Accounts Payables
- The bookkeeping, balance sheet and control account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and preparing / posting of journals
- Cooperating with the Finance team on executing activities related to external audits, fiscal reporting (VAT/Intrastat) and compliancy topic
- Takes active part in ad hoc activities, e.g. process improvement projects
Qualifications
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting diploma
- At least 2/3 years’ experience in the job within structured companies
- Knowledge of the MS Office Package (especially in MS Excel) and integrated management systems
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures
- Experience with ERP systems is desired, experience with NetSuite is an advantage
- Experience in TM1 is an advantage
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and ITA GAAP principles
- English fluency is mandatory
