Assistant Tour Manager:
Your life on board:
As the Assistant Tour Manager on our vessels, you’ll play a key role in overseeing shore excursion operations. You’ll work closely with the Tour Manager to ensure top-notch excursion quality and guest satisfaction, all while adhering to company standards. Your efforts will help create memorable experiences for our guests!
Demonstrate your passion:
- You’ll oversee and boost sales, proposing innovative ideas to enhance revenue in line with company targets.
- You’ll keep shore excursion selections updated and be well-versed in the products to ensure guest satisfaction and meet revenue goals.
- You’ll manage guest queues, addressing any requests or inquiries promptly.
- You’ll join guests on tours, promoting upcoming ports and excursions, and assist with translations as needed to provide excellent service and engage all guests.
- You’ll handle accounts, complete reports, and organize tour tickets to support the Tour Manager.
- You’ll assist the Tour Manager in overseeing personnel duties, ensuring team members understand their tasks and targets, and providing training and suggestions per company procedures.
- You’ll oversee setting up all sales channels, including ITV, new totems, and interactive kiosks, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.
- You’ll assist the Tour Manager in handling complaints, aiming to deliver quick and effective solutions that enhance guest satisfaction.
- You’ll supervise transfers, embarkation, and disembarkation processes, ensuring they are conducted safely and efficiently to assist guests.
- You will lead a safety-focused work environment, ensuring commitment to our Hess management system and fostering a culture of mutual responsibility.
- You hold a Secondary school Diploma or, preferable, a degree in tourism or languages
- You have a proven track in Sales or Tour Operator
- You have previous onboard experience in the same role
- You bring experience in staff management and supervision
- You master English and Italian language, and you speak fluently a third language among French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese
- You have a good command in MS Office Package (Excel, Word, PPT)
