We’re looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our dynamic team at Playtech Italy, a SRL based in Assago, Milan. The role reports functionally to the Director of Financial Control and is fully integrated into Playtech Italy to support our Italian operations. The candidate will also work in full coordination and with the support of a senior chartered accountant based in Milan. This is a part-time position (50–60%).
Job Description
Your Influential Mission: You Will…
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Italian civil code, tax laws, and EU financial regulations.
- Record and post day-to-day transactions in accordance with Italian GAAP (OIC), ensuring accuracy across prima nota, libro giornale, libro mastro, and registri IVA.
- Bring the books to the bilancio di verifica (trial balance) stage and support pre-tax balance sheet preparation.
- Manage invoices via SDI, supplier payments, and client receivables.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT settlements and F24 tax forms in coordination with our chartered accountants.
- Oversee bank account operations, cash flow, and business expense control.
- Coordinate with third-party payroll providers for all HR-related costs and payslips.
- Check and maintain the “cassetto fiscale” and resolve electronic invoicing issues.
- Support audit processes and prepare periodic reports for local and Group-level management.
Qualifications
Components for Success: You…
- Bring 5+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, ideally in medium-sized companies in Italy.
- Have strong knowledge of Italian financial regulations, OIC standards, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Are fluent in both Italian and English (non-negotiable).
- Hold a Diploma di Ragioneria or/and a degree in Economics/Accounting.
- Are proficient in Italian accounting software and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is definitely a plus).
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.

- Advanced knowledge of Italian tax planning and compliance (IVA, IRES, IRAP).
- Previous experiences in dealing with different cultures.
- Being used to working in Italian AND in English on a daily basis.
