Why This Role Is Right for You
As a DevOps Engineer – eCommerce Domain, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan. Together, we’ll work on supporting and evolving the CI/CD lifecycle of Java/Spring Boot microservices, in close alignment with developers, testers, and operations.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
- Design, manage, and optimize Jenkins pipelines tightly integrated with Bitbucket and Jira.
- Automate and configure services through Ansible to ensure repeatable and reliable environments.
- Manage operational coordination within DevOps teams and provide guidance on best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee stable, traceable, and standardized releases.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of Nexi’s eCommerce platforms in a cloud-ready environment.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CI/CD support for microservices in Java/Spring Boot environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins (scripted and declarative pipelines).
- Solid knowledge of Ansible for automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency with scripting in Bash and Groovy.
- Familiarity with version control and project management tools (Bitbucket, Jira).
- Experience working in Linux-based environments (preferably Red Hat).
- Understanding of application configuration standards (.properties, .yaml).
- Team player mindset with operational coordination and troubleshooting skills.
- Ensure robust network configuration and troubleshooting capabilities, with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall rules to support secure and reliable platform connectivity.
- Drive monitoring and observability efforts through hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack, enabling proactive incident response and system health visibility.

- Cloud Certifications are welcome (Azure, GCP, AWS)
