Job Scope
As E-Commerce Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the correct level of stock, the content is presented with quality and accuracy, and verifying that the merchandised products match the theme of campaigns
Responsibilities
- Monitor key trading tasks such as stock management, fragmentation, and product returns.
- Prepare orders and re-orders according to business needs
- Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of e-Commerce activities, e.g. product uploads according to launches calendar, reporting, organizing stock transfers.
- Working with the administration for all the activities related to goods movements
- Be extensively involved in UAT site testing for development projects and regular site walk throughs to ensure 100% accuracy at all times.
- Analyze data and propose commercial objectives.
- Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, assist on the end-to-end multi-platform customer journey including all platform content updates, optimising search, merchandising, recommendations, and SEO ensuring that brand & commercial objectives are met throughout the purchase and engagement funnel.
- Assisting the E-Commerce Manager with the creation and prioritisation of the roadmap and work backlog on the ecommerce platform. Specifically, working closely with the Merchant of Record and E-Commerce agency as well as the AS Roma Technology team to deliver the roadmap on the ecommerce platform.
- Contribute to the E-Commerce marketing calendar. Working where required within the wider retail function on product launches, marketing campaigns, creation of assets and outbound communications to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager on the creation of personalised customer journeys to engage, convert and retain shoppers.
- Stay abreast of e-Commerce trends by attendance at occasional industry specific events & conferences, implementing learnings & best practice.
University Degree
Professional experience
At least 3 years in similar roles
Skills requirments
Technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge and use of MS Office 365. Good knowledge of Google Analytics 4. Good knowledge of CMS and E-Commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of analytical tools for performance measurement (e.g. Power BI) as well as E-Commerce tools such as Yotpo and Klevu.
- Knowledge of both digital and physical retail operations.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of an E-Commerce platform
- Good understanding of E-Commerce UX, content & development projects, plus intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar end-to-end eCommerce role.
- Experience in developing an eCommerce roadmap to meet business targets.
- Experience of working in a team meeting year-on-year sales targets as well as optimising customer journeys, conversion rates and average order values and E-Commerce operational functions.
- The ability to analyze data, sales and market trends, setting out a data-led vision for platform development and delivering upon it.
Soft skills:
- The ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and comfortable interacting with personnel of varying seniority levels.
- Strong written reporting skills.
