We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the role of Project Manager – Innovation Area, focusing on both national and European projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing project proposals aligned with EU policies, as well as familiarity with national-level funding opportunities. The role requires in-depth knowledge of funding programs, regulations, and processes for designing, managing, and evaluating both EU- and nationally-funded projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing project proposals consistent with EU and national policies, identifying the most appropriate funding opportunities, in collaboration with the team dedicated to project development.
- Establishing strategic collaborations with universities, research institutions, companies, and other organizations to implement research and development projects.
- Managing partnerships with educational institutions and schools to promote student mobility, professional training, and the exchange of best practices.
- Leading projects in the areas of innovation, technology, and sustainability.
- Staying consistently updated on national and European funding programs, project selection criteria, and funding mechanisms.
- Building and maintaining networks across sectors to create strong, effective partnerships for successful projects.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities and qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills, strong autonomy, a digital mindset, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A forward-looking approach, focused on continuous development.
- In-depth knowledge of both European and national policies and programs.
- Significant experience in project management and financing, including expertise with EU and national funding programs.
- Cross-disciplinary skills, particularly in technical project design and partnership development.
- Creativity and strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for networking.
- A thorough understanding of institutional and social contexts at both European and national levels.
- Fluent command of the English language.
- A commitment to staying updated on funding opportunities and best practices.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Preferred Academic Background: Degrees in economics, sustainable development, digital transition, international cooperation, or similar fields will be considered an asset.
Job Details
- Contract Duration: 12 months or more
- Compensation and Collaboration Modalities: Both the mode of collaboration and the compensation will be evaluated in agreement with the candidate, based on their prior experience and the support modalities established together.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday or flexible hours basing on results/tasks
