Overview
We are seeking a warm, engaging Group Dinner Host to lead intimate 2–3 hour dinner gatherings for small groups of travelers. These dinners are designed to feel like a genuine Italian family meal, where guests not only enjoy delicious Roman cuisine but also learn about the rich culinary traditions, cultural heritage of the city, and have access to our team members for advice and assistance during their stay.
The ideal candidate will be a natural storyteller who can make guests feel at home, share local insights, and foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Host and guide guests through a relaxed, family-style dinner experience.
- Share engaging stories, traditions, and insights about Roman and Italian food culture.
- Create a welcoming environment that encourages conversation and cultural exchange.
- Serve as a knowledgeable local resource for travel tips and recommendations.
Requirements
- Good command of spoken English (minimum B2 level).
- Strong knowledge and passion for Italian culture, particularly Roman traditions and cuisine.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from around the world.
- Prior experience in tourism, hospitality, or cultural exchange is preferred, but not essential.
