In order to support our business we are looking for a Junior Angular developer.
Position Summary:
Software Engineers at Datacolor are responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining our products. We are looking for a motivated Junior Angular developer eager to grow within a collaborative and international team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in web development, a keen interest in Angular, and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and improving their skills.
They will support the development of cloud-based applications, focusing on building user-friendly and performant interfaces under the guidance of more experienced developers.
They will report directly to the Software Manager and receive mentoring and support to help them progress in their role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the front-end of web applications with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and performance
- Assist in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and TypeScript code
- Contribute to the creation of reusable and testable UI components for our internal components’ library under the guidance of senior developers
- Collaborate with designers and with backend developers to implement visual designs and to ensure seamless integration with APIs and services
- Learn and apply best practices in modern web development and stay curious about emerging technologies and tools, especially within the Angular ecosystem and cloud platforms
Experience & Qualifications:
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent knowledge (through internships, university projects, or personal/side projects)
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and TypeScript (front-of-the-front-end)
- A basic understanding of Angular and strong interest in learning Angular development practices and tools
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows is a plus
- A collaborative mindset, strong organizational and communication skills
- A proactive attitude and ability to manage simple tasks with increasing autonomy
- Fluent English language, both oral and written
