Workshop/Line Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the job is to Manage all the manufacturing activities for a project(s) in the Line/Workshop including the responsibilities linked to the position as hierarchical manager of all the employees of the manufacturing organization who belong to this Manufacturing Line/Workshop
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The main responsibilities the phases of the project execution, for the manufacturing activities belonging to the Line/Workshop are.
- From TTM up to CGR, responsible for
- Manufacturing contribution to
- Industrial QCD Management,
- Supply chain process definition & validation
- Quality plan validation
- Industrialization.
- Manufacturing contribution of EHS risks & Ergonomics analysis
- Manufacturing preparation of the line/workshop
- Manufacturing planning preparation (workload, …
- Manufacturing resources & skills management (staffing, trainings, qualification, …)
- Industrial process Hand-over from PME to manufacturing
- APSYS deployment (shop floor tools) preparation,
- Manufacturing contribution to
- As of CGR up to FQA, is responsible for
- The finalization of manufacturing preparation of the line/workshop
- The complete scope of manufacturing activities for the product on the line/workshop, which also includes
- Intermediate Handover (EPU level) including intermediate applied configuration (= as manufactured), self-inspections, dynamic checklist, NCR, rework, missing parts, waivers/deviations, incomplete operations, …
- On time, closing of work orders in MES
- Productive & Nonproductive hours booked in MES of all operators
- Full APSYS deployment on the line/workshop
- SQCD performance, and tracking the associated KPI
- Continuous improvement of SQCD performance
- Optimizations of workstations via application of APSYS Tools
- Issues Management
- Issues are raised in MES on time
- Animation of corrective action issue (e.g. QRQC)
- Organization of the execution of changes to the product, (if applicable)
- Retrofit execution of first trains/products (if applicable)
- 1st Train(s) /products Manufacturing Feedback to support functions in order to improve SQCD performance
The main responsibilities as hierarchical manager of the employees belonging to the manufacturing line/workshop are
- Responsible for time management (presence management and activity management) of all employees, and assure compliance with local legislation,
- Responsible for continuously improving occupational safety, including contractors (if applicable) working for the manufacturing line/workshop,
- Responsible for the development, which means further development of the qualification matrix for product-related and technology-related processes, as well as general technological and personal qualification,
- Responsible for the PMC (People Management Cycle) as per local HR policy,
- Responsible for the implementation and application of the corporate policies (IRIS, EHS, Ethics and Compliance….),

- Minimum Higher Technical/General degree Every educational requirement can also be obtained by means of experience

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
