Webuild is looking for an M&A and Asset Management Expert to help evaluate investment opportunities to accelerate growth through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, restructuring, re-organizations. The place of work is Milan (Milanofiori).
The candidate will develop a deep understanding of emerging trends and market dynamics, gather industry intelligence, and execute potential transactions.
Main responsibilities
- Identifying and assessing investment opportunities across existing and new / adjacent markets.
- Supporting throughout all phases of due diligence process, coordinating both with other internal departments and external advisors.
- Creating and maintaining updated financial models for potential targets, mastering sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Preparing executive level strategic and financial presentations for executive review meetings and investment committees.
- Supporting integration efforts for acquisitions in collaboration with other internal departments.
- Mapping and monitoring M&A transactions to facilitate market understanding.
Requirements
- Previous 4-5 years of experience in M&A boutiques, consulting firms, Corporate M&A or Corporate Development team.
- Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Industrial Engineering (with major in Finance).
- Sound knowledge of financial analysis, valuation, corporate finance and business law.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel and especially PowerPoint).
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and oral. An additional language will be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High motivation, strategic thinking, proactive attitude, and attention to details.
- Ability to proactively work in a team, in a flexible and dynamic environment.
