Posizione:
Job duties for the position include:
- Analyze and coordinate ongoing logistical functions, including material planning and the full product lifecycle for horns and antenna systems
- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key personnel involved in logistics material planning activities.
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely acquisition of materials and components supplied by vendors meet company’s quality standards, cost-efficiency policies, and production timelines.
- Develop and maintain order management plans for key customers to create standardized material planning processes.
- Coordinate the logistical aspects of product life cycles including supply chain distribution, over-or-under delivery issues and inventory shortage ensuing minimal impact on production.
- Develop and implement inventory control measures to reduce losses, including implementing management systems for annual inventory counts for operations in the U.S. and Mexico.
- Use data-driven insights to evaluate inventory trends, adjust strategies to support product goals, enhance operational efficiency and reduce inventory-related costs.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives and procurement procedure optimization to ensure the standardization of material release and inventory management processes across all operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external associates to plan and facilitate on-time delivery of materials to avoid production disruptions.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and gather data for performance analysis.
- Report ongoing progress updates to management and recommend improving and optimizing the purchasing function.
- Plan, organize and execute cycle counting procedures, driving improvements in inventory accuracy through strategic planning and regular audits, aligning with best practices and operational goals.
Requisiti:
Requires two years of experience in logistics related occupation coordinating material planning, logistics, and supplier communication to ensure timely material delivery and efficient cross-border supply chain operations within an automotive component manufacturing environment.
