Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position:
We are looking for Olympic Village Manager - Livigno.
The Village Manager oversees the full Village team and is accountable for the planning, execution, and daily operation of all activities within the Village.
He/she will be responsible for:
- Actively contributing to the planning phase by finalizing the Village Operations Plan, ensuring it incorporates all relevant details provided by other Functional Areas operating within the Village;
- Participating in all venue team meetings, as well as any other relevant meetings or collaborative activities with colleagues from Milano Cortina 2026;
- Serving as the main point of contact for all access-related requests from other areas, including managing permissions, operational needs, and movement flows within the Village.
- Responsible for maintaining alignment and managing relationships with hotel owners and local authorities.
During games time, for the entire exclusive use of the site of the village he/she will stay all day long in the village and check that all the operational phases are completed (bump in, fit out, security sweep, first arrivals, movements, flows, departures, ceremony operations).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale event management oroperations;
- Previousexperience in Olympic/Paralympic or multi-sport event environments is an advantage;
- Proven experience in project management;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
- Strong leadership and team managementabilities in high-pressure environments;
- Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English (written and spoken);
- Knowledge of Livigno area and its local context is essential.
