The Role:
The Operations Manager Production & IT, is responsible for overseeing the execution of event architectural production and technology infrastructure, ensuring integration with the official plan at an exclusive hospitality experience in Milan during the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. This role guarantees that all production elements, including audiovisual, lighting, and IT systems, are fully compliant with design specifications and operational standards. The supervisor will collaborate closely with the design team, technical teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution while upholding high service standards. This position reports directly to the Operations Director.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of event architectural production and technology infrastructure, ensuring all elements align with the official plan and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team, technical teams, and internal departments to coordinate and optimize production and IT operations.
- Ensure that all production elements, including audiovisual, lighting, and IT systems, fully comply with venue requirements, design specifications, safety regulations, and technical standards.
- Supervise the setup, integration, and troubleshooting of audiovisual, lighting, and IT systems to guarantee execution throughout the event.
- Support production and IT teams, by ensuring effective communication and workflow throughout set up and event operations.
- Report progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Operations Director, ensuring smooth execution and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years in event production, operations, or IT within hospitality, entertainment, or events.
- Expertise in AV, IT infrastructure and system integration.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.
- Milan based.

- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and emergency planning.
- Commitment to sustainability with experience in sustainable practices.
