Job Description:

For our project at Paris Orly Airport T4, we are seeking a qualified specialist in automationsupport to work closely with our maintenance partner's team and lead a small team of tehcnicians on site.
The selected candidate will undergo an initial knowledge period on the installed system, better if he already knows the Leoanrdo Sorter System technologies, and become the main interface between Leonardo's remote technical support specialists and the on-site maintenance team.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor and control the performance of the IT & Automation infrastructure during the system operation.
Proactively assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving any issues that may lead to abnormal system operation.
Provide knowledge transfer and technical mentoring to on-site methods and automation technic.
take charge of the site where the technical assistance, maintenance and operational supervision activities will take place
manage site documentation
establish site hours and any work shifts based on the technical specifications
carry out operational planning of site activities and ensure their distribution to support personnel
identify and plan the procurement, with the support of the IPT Leader (through procurement and/or directly from the Client / Suppliers / Partners involved), of equipment, devices and infrastructures necessary to carry out the activities on the site
manage the construction site cash register (to be agreed)
verify that the instrumentation available and used during on-site activities is managed under a calibration regime, i.e. it must manage a list of on-site instrumentation with identification data for each instrument and relative calibration expiry dates
manage human resources on site
manage the documentation, storage and movement of materials and equipment
act as a supervisor for workplace safety, unless a different figure is explicitly appointed
coordinate, with Service Maanger, all issues of compliance with contractual and milestone requirements reported in the maintenance plan
define the planning of maintenance activities according to the scheduled maintenance plan
communicate with the Customer for all matters relating to technical assistance and maintenance activities
interface with the Maintenance Engineering U.O. to properly manage technical intervention and maintenance procedure/issues
manage communication with customer in coordination with the Service manager/IPT Leader
Eduxcation:
DIPLOMA (MANDATORY): mechanical, electrical or electronic expert
DEGREE (DESIRABLE): Mechanical and/or Electronic Engineering, possibly
specializing in automation and controls
Experience
Senoir experience is requested
The candidate must have between 5 and 10 years of previous experience in the industrial sector on installation and technical assistance sites
Technical skills:
Have the skills to ensure efficient management of site logistics (for example: permits, shipments, etc…)
Provide concrete proof of having managed technical assistance projects in their entirety professional past, respecting the times set out in the assigned timetable and of having achieved the contractual milestones defined with the end Customer knowledge of both hardware and software components of automation systems.
