Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting a Purchasing Supervisor to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the role is responsible for assisting with all purchasing operations at property level, such as: following established procedures in ordering, receiving, storing, distributing and payment of items; respecting an approved vendors list encompassing all categories, following Marriott International procurement policies and standard; and implementing internal procedures to ensure smooth operations flow.

What you’ll do:
- Order products, especially food and beverage, based on business needs.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and enforce FIFO rotation.
- Communicate effectively with all departments and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Support F&B and other departments in controlling food and beverage costs.
- Complete end-of-period inventory and maintain accurate logs and records.
- Monitor product availability and pricing, reporting changes to relevant departments.
- Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with bookkeeping standards.
- Use relevant software (e.g., Marriott systems) for data entry, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Generate timely and accurate reports, presentations, and inventory figures.
- Support audits and follow up on findings as needed.
- Coordinate purchasing operations with property goals and standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and sanitation regulations.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment, supporting emergency and recovery plans.
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service, addressing issues proactively.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, menu costing, and purchasing documentation.
