In this role you will:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of Market Managers and Market Executives to achieve individual and team KPIs.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, motivated, and goal-driven team environment.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement contracting strategies for the assigned region in alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure the portfolio of properties meets the demands of the company’s sales channels, including the right mix of hotels, competitive pricing, and optimal availability.
Performance Monitoring:- Regularly review team and individual performance metrics, providing feedback and support to achieve targets.
- Identify and address challenges, including market-specific issues, and develop actionable solutions. - Provide regular performance updates to senior management. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key hotel partners in the region.
- Support Market Managers in high-level negotiations and issue resolution when required.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex situations with hotel partners or internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
- Collaborate with technology teams to resolve issues related to system integrations and product delivery. - Partner with the Commercial Strategy team to identify new opportunities and improve profitability.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions about regional performance and strategy. - Prepare and deliver detailed reports on regional performance, team progress, and market conditions to senior leadership.

- Experience working with distribution platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems is advantageous.
- Business-level fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
- Qualifications & knowledge
- Minimum 5 years’ hotel account management.
- Minimum 3 years’ team management experience
- Strong negotiation skills; pro-active team leader
- Accurate with attention to detail • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Able to develop, and maintain, strong and trusting relationships with hoteliers and colleagues.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
