Job Description
We are seeking a creative and innovative Retail Visual Merchandiser to join our team in Reggio Emilia, Italy. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and commercially effective displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Develop and implement visually stunning merchandising strategies that align with brand identity and current fashion trends
- Design and execute eye-catching window displays, in-store layouts, and product presentations
- Collaborate with store managers and marketing teams to create cohesive visual narratives that showcase new collections and promotions
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product placement and visual impact
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a fresh and innovative approach
- Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising best practices and standards
- Ensure all displays meet company guidelines, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Participate in seasonal planning and visual directive development
- Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, materials, and equipment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field, preferably in fashion retail
- Proven track record of creating impactful visual displays and store layouts
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising techniques, retail design principles, and space planning
- Proficiency in window display creation and visual storytelling
- Excellent trend forecasting abilities and knowledge of current fashion industry trends
- Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related field (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of retail marketing strategies and brand identity development
- Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and aesthetic sense
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when required
- Willingness to travel to different store locations within the region
