Meaningful Work From Day One

This is an exciting role within the Brown-Forman Italy Sales Operations team, responsible for support and coordination of internal processes & systems which are essential for effective customer management, sales efficiency and productivity.

The role includes support on customer and product data analysis and processing, administration for the Sales division and building relationships and working with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the development of business plans and strategy.

This is a 6 months internship (hybrid-office role 4 days a week at office)

What You Can Expect

Sales Data Support:

  • Assist in the processing of sales data and the generation of basic reports related to sales forecasts, plans, and budgets under supervision.
  • Support the preparation of preliminary analyses and data summaries for the Sales and Marketing teams, utilizing internal data sources (training provided).
  • Assist in maintaining data quality and consistency within sales planning efforts under guidance.
  • Support the coordination of basic planning activities with other functions within the B-F Italy Sales & Business Planning process, as directed.
  • Assist in the management of existing sales/promotional dashboards by extracting and organizing customer information.
  • Support the process of assigning and maintaining SKU allocation information in relevant systems (e.g., Salesforce, KAMs) under supervision.

Commercial budget support:

  • Collaborate with Finance and Pricing teams to assist in monitoring spend and discounting activities, under guidance.
  • Assist in the uploading of customer rebate and promotion invoices to the Salesforce platform and perform other administrative tasks within our systems as needed.

Data Maintenance support:

  • Learn to utilize Salesforce and KAMs systems for business needs, potentially assisting with basic data entry and updates under supervision.
  • Support efforts to ensure customer and sales data is complete, updated, and accurate.

Systems’ development support:

  • Contribute to discussions and provide input on process improvements and the development of sales systems, as appropriate for an entry-level role.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for working with data and numbers.
  • Good IT literacy, including familiarity with MS Office Applications and Google Suite (especially Excel/G Sheets).
  • Basic knowledge of Italy Modern Trade structure, customer dynamics, and the rationale behind them.
  • Basic analytical skills and a willingness to learn how to apply them to commercial challenges.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to present information clearly (English and Italian).
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to projects, with guidance and support.
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
  • Exposure to or interest in the FMCG, luxury goods, or wine and spirits industries.
  • Direct or indirect experience in supporting a Modern Trade sales structure is a plus.
