The opportunity

For our Business Unit Grid Automation – Sales Team we are looking for an intern who will support in developing preliminary solutions, technical and commercial offers within the protection and control systems area.

This internship will give you the opportunity to write your thesis about the role of multinational companies in the Italian energy market, focusing on the optimization of sales processes.

Available locations: Milano – Santa Palomba Roma

How you’ll make an impact

• In collaboration with the Sales Team implement the sales strategy by promoting value add solutions to the benefit of the customer;
• Understand the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and support in preparing sales plans, reviewing them and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed;
• Give support in developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios;
• Establish long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations. Register customer feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process;
• Contribute to risk assessments related to price and quality. Ensure technical reliability, safety and cost-effective solutions to satisfy customer’s needs. Comply with health and safety directives;
• Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

Your background

• You are finishing your Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical / Energy / Mechanical / Automation / Management Engineering (or similar) and you are looking for an internship opportunity to write your thesis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good analytical skills, proactivity and customer oriented mindset;
• Excellent ability to work in a team;
• Good knowledge of written / spoken English and Italian;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
