Specialty Restaurant Manager Gourmet:
Your life on board
As a Specialty Restaurant Manager, you will lead the operations of a premium onboard dining outlet, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction while driving profitability. You’ll be the go-to person for everything from setup to closing, creating memorable dining experiences every day.
Demonstrate your passion
- You’ll interact with guests daily, ensuring their experience is flawless and personalized.
- You’ll train, mentor, and motivate your team, providing regular feedback and fostering a culture of excellence.
- You’ll monitor revenue performance and implement strategies to boost sales, especially during low attendance periods.
- You’ll support special events like birthdays and themed parties, ensuring every detail is perfect.
- You’ll manage the reservation system and ensure accurate records of extra requisitions.
- You’ll oversee the setup of the restaurant, ensuring ambiance, music, lighting, and furniture are aligned with brand standards.
- You’ll assist guests with dietary needs, coordinating with the Chef to ensure their requirements are met.
- You’ll conduct audits and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- You’ll supervise cleaning and sanitation, ensuring compliance with HACCP/USPH standards and proper food waste management.
- You’ll enforce safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture within your team.
- You have an upper secondary school diploma (preferably a hotel school diploma or equivalent) or higher.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role on cruise ships or in high-volume restaurants (500+ seats) in 4/5-star hotels, fine dining or gourmet restaurants.
- You possess strong leadership and business skills, with a guest-focused, positive personality, professional appearance, and impeccable hygiene standards.
- You have excellent knowledge of all Public Health Policies and possess exceptional work ethic, motivational skills, and coaching abilities.
- You speak English and Italian at a B2 level or higher, plus one additional language between German or French at B1 level or higher.
