RINA is currently recruiting for a Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria & Molise Certification Lead - - Aerospace Scheme to join its office in Prato, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.
Mission
The role focuses on planning, execution, and management of audits within our certification business, leading large and complex customer engagements, ensuring effective audit processes, compliance with standards, and fostering strong client relationships. #LI-MC1
Key Accountabilities
- Conducting thorough 3rd party audits in adherence to the aerospace scheme as stipulated by EN9100:2018, applying your expertise to ensure industry-leading standards.
- Managing a three-year program for Client Organizations certified under the EN9100 framework, ensuring continuous compliance and improvement.
- Engaging with clients to understand their needs and help them achieve certification and maintain their status through regular audits and consultations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that all audit findings and recommendations are implemented, driving improvements in client organizations.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively and position RINA Services as a thought leader in certification.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree
High School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Qualifications
- A Diploma or University Degree, preferably within the aerospace, mechanical, or electronic fields.
- Completion of the “IAQG-sanctioned 9100:2016 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training” course, recognised by Personnel Certification Bodies.
- A minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience in the aerospace sector, particularly in engineering, design, and manufacturing, with an emphasis on product/process quality control in environments such as aerospace component manufacturers or national agencies.
- Professional certification or registration in Aerospace Registers (OASIS) such as EN9100:2018 will greatly be viewed as an asset.
- Familiarity with mandatory regulations (EASA Part 145, EASA Part 21) will strengthen your application.
- Strong interpersonal skills, complemented by an ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Italian to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
