How will you contribute?
Reports to the National 3PL Manager
Direct Line responsibility for the leadership of c. 13 Warehouse Operatives and 1 Team Leader
Provide a focus on; onwards, upwards and outwards
Ensure the delivery of contractual KPI’s and budget requirements
Ensuring effective communication throughout the operational leadership team; communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures
Driving a continuous improvement programme, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
What will you bring?
Requires proven warehouse operations management experience above First Line Manager (FLM) level, i.e. proven competence in leading managers who in turn manage hands-on colleagues
Must personally demonstrate the key Wincanton values: Trust, Integrity, Togetherness, Proactivity, Passion and Excellence
You must have the energy, determination and commitment to operate in an environment where regular customer contact and scrutiny is the norm and effective customer communication is essential

The ability to support and challenge appropriately, in terms of the “what” and the “how”
The ideal candidate should have full working knowledge of the interaction between operations, Stock and Systems, HR, Finance, IT etc
