PURPOSE
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role combines hands-on supervision with strategic planning, focusing on safety, accuracy, and productivity. The Warehouse Manager leads the team, optimizes workflows, and ensures materials and products are handled in compliance with manufacturing standards, deadlines, and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate warehouse operations including inbound materials, storage, order picking, packing, and outbound shipments.
- Register and monitor the inventory (raw materials, semi-finished product, finished product) and its valuation.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring performance, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage a warehouse coordinator
- Monitor stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support lean manufacturing practices.
- Use ERP/WMS systems to track, report, and analyze warehouse performance and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations and on-time manufacturing flow.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and KPI monitoring.
- Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure, and focus on continuous improvement.
