The Head of Specialty Brands Region Europe is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the overall strategy, increasing patient access, generating commercial growth and profitability of specific categories of innovative products. The individual will lead above market teams and collaborate cross-functionally including with global commercial development, R&D, supply, operations and local market organizations to ensure a successful execution of business strategies. The role demands a leader who can both execute and set a compelling vision and align innovative portfolio goals with the company’s broader objectives, ensuring sustainable profitable growth of the business.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional brand strategies in alignment with senior leadership and overall business goals.
Lead strategic planning, market analysis, and omnichannel tactical execution across affiliates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with global and regional teams (e.g., Digital, Medical, R&D, Market Access, Supply, Finance, Legal) to deliver innovation and long-term portfolio growth.
Support new product development, business expansion, and launch planning for innovative global brands.
Build, lead, and coach a high-performing, inclusive team while managing performance, staffing, and budget.
Drive development of regional marketing assets, oversee key local adaptations, and manage supply distribution across markets.
Select and manage Key Opinion Leaders and above-market vendors to support strategic objectives.
Ownership Areas:
Team budget, staffing, development, and performance management.
Regional marketing assets and market adaptation strategies.
Product supply distribution during availability constraints.
KOL selection, collaboration models, and vendor relationships.
Contractual agreements with marketing and operational vendors.
Areas of Influence:
Guide local General Managers on go-to-market strategies, tactical implementation, KPI setting, and resource deployment.
Influence regional functions in developing effective go-to-market strategies.
