HR Representative Italy
Summary:
As the HR Representative, you will deliver and oversee day-to-day HR services and processes in alignment with global HR policies and local labor regulations. You will serve as a key point of contact for employees, managers, and business partners, managing the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment through offboarding—including internal transfers, disciplinary actions, development plans, and other personnel measures. In this role, you play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of HR activities while fostering a supportive and responsive HR environment.
Responsibilities Include:
HR Management & Administration
- Provide a proactive HR service to employees and management in collaboration with respective stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with the Regional People Ops Leader, ensuring alignment with regional/corporate HR strategies and priorities.
- Assisting in the interpretation and application of HR policies, processes, National CLA, and company regulatory policies.
- Work closely with Supervisors/Managers to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
- Consult and advise Supervisors/Managers in dealing with employee issues and assist with appropriate actions and problem resolution, ensuring consistency with previous procedures and applicable laws, corporate policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve core HR performance and processes and establish standards for recurring HR requests.
- Prepare and maintain records and employment contracts for new hires, internal moves, propose and implement changes as appropriate.
- Support the onboarding process by training new hires and coordinating the introduction process, etc.
- Support global projects and facilitate Corporate initiatives at the site/office level.
Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
- Work closely with the TA team and Hiring Managers to meet the company's recruitment needs and successfully fill vacancies.
- Assume responsibility for the recruitment process for both professional and CLA positions, including creating job descriptions, posting job applications, reviewing incoming applications, correspondence with applicants, pre-selection, scheduling interviews, and submitting job offers to selected candidates
- Review applications/resumes, conduct interviews to match candidates with specific job requirements, provide feedback, and prepare all relevant information to offer job opportunities to selected candidates.
- Creation of offer letters and employment contract documents according to existing standards.
Performance Management
- Support Managers and Employees regarding the performance management and succession planning processes.
- Work closely with the line Managers to create employee development plans to improve low performance, support development, and retain high potentials.
- Close collaboration with Total Rewards with regard to salary planning processes.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Master’s degree in law/business administration or equivalent with a focus on Human Resources or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the field of HR Admin/Payroll, preferred in an HR Field/Employee Relations role.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
The following are preferred for the role:
- Knowledge of Workday is an advantage.
- Labor relations experience.
