European Pizza Group (E.P.G.) is a Joint Venture between the biggest Food company worldwide, Nestlé, and Equity Fund PAI partners. The JV was created in September 2023 with the objective to provide the best environment to develop the frozen Pizza business, creating a fully focused, stand-alone, agile and resource backed player to succeed in this competitive arena. EPG is present in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Benelux and Austria with two leading brands: Wagner and Buitoni.


Position Snapshot:


  • EPG Italy, Benevento Factory
  • Permanent contract
  • Degree, in addition any Masters or courses in HR or Selection will be a preferential qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR Specialist role, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry structured corporate contexts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other cloud based HR software is a plus
  • Good knowledge of the main ATS, recruiting portals and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Italian and English language is a must


Position summary


We are looking for a motivated HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role will focus on Recruiting & Learning & Training & Internal Communication while also supporting the broader HR function as a generalist. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach and is comfortable working across various HR disciplines and areas and has high agility towards HR IT Systems and processes as well as great interpersonal skills enjoying to work within a team.


Main responsibilities


Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job profiles.
  • Coordinate & conduct interviews, assessments, and candidate communication.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and manage career page content
  • Manage relationships with employment agencies, head hunters, ITS and universities
  • Manage the candidate experience and maintain an updated talent database.
  • Support the onboarding of new hires and internal transfers including related HR administrative activities
  • Analyze and monitor the salary market to ensure competitiveness of our compensation package and benefits


Learning & Training

  • Organize, administer and implement training and development programs
  • Coordinate onboarding, compliance, and other functional or soft-skill training sessions.
  • Track and evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records as required


Workforce Planning

  • Manage annual and interim budget and headcount forecast reviews in alignment with our Finance Team, developing simulations and reporting to support the decision-making process.
  • Prepare periodic reports and statistical analyses on personnel costs, gender pay gap, pay equity, etc.


General HR Support / HR Operations

  • Provide support across the entire employee life cycle, including onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Act as a backup for time & attendance management & HR payroll working closely with the other functions, e.g. finance to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in all HR systems and ensure data quality.
  • Coordinate with external other HR service providers (e.g., payroll provider, benefits vendors) and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Act as a key point of contact for company-wide HR communications (e.g., newsletters, intranet updates, announcements).
