We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan at Siemens Mobility.

Your Challenge
As Product Lifecycle Manager Your main activities will be:
- Global responsibility for the entire product lifecycle of modern signaling systems products, developing and maintaining a consistent, sustainable, and market-oriented portfolio strategy and deriving prioritized actions accordingly
- Central role in all technical aspects of the portfolio – from technology strategy to daily operations in regional markets with special focus on the Italian signaling market.
- Focus on launching a new product generation with a substantial development budget.
- Advancement of the portfolio toward digitalization, positioning as a driver of future technologies.
- Identification of technological trends and collaboration with development teams to turn ideas into marketable products.
- Responsible for the quality of market and competitor analysis methodologies.
- Periodic and cross-project collection, analysis, and evaluation of market, customer, and competitor data.
- Identification of trends, segments, and market entry barriers.
- Comparison of current business status with market data and definition of future positioning.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
- University degree (Diploma / Master’s) in engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of professional experience in product management, project management, engineering, or R&D.
- Expertise in communication technology.
- Expertise in railway signaling preferably in the Italian Market.
- Knowledge of the homologation process in Italy
- Excellent English skills and willingness to travel (~20%).
- Passion to never-stop growing
- Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
- Proficiency in English
