About the role:
As a Senior Sales Development Representative at myPOS, you’ll be the first touchpoint for new prospects - opening doors, sparking conversations, and creating real opportunities for the sales team. Your focus will be outbound outreach, mainly cold calling, backed by smart research and persistence.
This role is about more than volume - you’ll use strategy, curiosity, and resilience to turn first impressions into qualified meetings and set the stage for long-term partnerships. What you’ll do:
- Identify and research potential leads within target markets and industries. Use various channels – internal lead generation, external third-party platforms, calls, emails, social media.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, building rapport and initiating conversations that highlight the value of our products/services.
- Confidently address objections, using active listening and probing questions to understand prospects' needs.
- Assess leads based on established criteria to ensure they're a good fit for our products and services.
- Engage with prospects to set up qualified meetings and demos for the sales team, contributing to the growth of our pipeline.
- Keep accurate records of all interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining up-to-date lead information in our CRM.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Hands-on experience winning and growing business with medium to large companies, backed by a track record of results; payments or fintech experience will be considered an advantage.
- A genuine passion for sales and the drive to go above and beyond.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections.
- Confidence with with cold calling and the ability to turn first contacts into meaningful conversations.
- Ability and curiosity to ask smart questions and uncover what really matters to customers.
- A target-driven, “make it happen” mindset.
- The eagerness to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English.
