The Tech Service Management team plays a crucial role within ING organization, through the management of the entire lifecycle of outsourcers (both third parties and intra-group ones), from the onboarding (including tender) to the phase-out. In this context, the Tech Service Manager acts as a key partner of the Business to ensure that the best outsourcer is chosen and that the best service is provided to ING within controlled costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Liase with the Tech Strategy department to define the best strategy for the service (i.e. Make or Buy)
Support the Business and Procurement department in the Tender process
Support the service receiver in the classification of the service (e.g. according to Dora regulation and internal policies) and in the assessment of sourcing risks and related mitigating factors
Coordinate the contract drawing, including the definition of Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators
Support the Business in the definition of service contingency strategy, contingency plan and exit plan
Collaborate with the business to define the transition plan and supervise its execution
Facilitate the execution of periodic service review meetings with the outsourcers (both external and intra-group ones), collecting relevant information to assess the service level
Maintain a good relation with the outsourcers through periodic relationship meetings
Support the Business in the monitoring of costs
Qualifications and Skills:
Requirements:
• University degree, a plus in Information/Computer Technology
• 5+ years’ experience within service management in Tech departments within complex and international organizations (preferably in the financial industry)
• Strong knowledge of IT service management methodologies and framework – ITIL certification is a plus
• Proven ability in negotiation and contract management
• Proficient in English is mandatory (written and spoken)
• Mastery of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
