ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR- CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Responsible for maintaining existing client relationships/ portfolios with accountability for client retention as well as new business development. The candidate will manage and develop clients and grow the portfolio within the business unit. The role will also be responsible for targeting and converting prospects. The principal accountability of the position is to put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.
Duties:
- Day to day client service, with the support of various business units, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers and other third parties, communicating by voice as well as email or in presence meetings (including advice on cover, contract reviews, WTW Network coordination to implement local policies as required, ongoing servicing following placement etc)
- Understanding the client’s business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service with the support of the relevant Business Units and Specialties
- Implementing the client’s global insurance program in accordance with the client’s insurance and risk management philosophy
- liaising with the placement/business unit of WTW on behalf of the client with the aim of placing the best policies on the insurance market and presentation of the results to the client
- market and client meetings when appropriate
- Liaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed.
Qualifications
The requirements
- Educated to degree level
- Fluent in English
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance in order to deal effectively with client needs.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and insurers.
- Ability to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, representing the Business Unit and the wider Group with a high level of credibility.
- Excellent clients focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of direct client service
- Ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions for clients
- Good understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the Business Unit and WTW overall.
- Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery.
- Intermediate level of IT systems (as a minimum Microsoft Office)
- Intermediate knowledge of data analysis
- Good presentation skills
