Commercial Channels & Hospital Tender Manager
What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- As a Commercial Channels & Hospital Tender Manager you will work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Customer Service functions to define & implement the strongest distribution strategy and manage key stakeholders in compliance with specific legislation
- Definition & implementation of Commercial channel strategies being the point of contact for external stakeholders (e.g. wholesalers, pharmacies, distribution partners)
- Maximise the hospital performance defining the strategy and managing the partnership with external providers also guaranteeing process simplification/efficiency
- Be a pro-active Business Partner to the Italian Team and provide decision support to the Portfolio & Commercial Head, the Leadership Team and any other internal stakeholder (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Service teams)
- Manage special projects in order to increase efficacy and efficiency of the distribution
- Support to financial analysis for profitability and margins
- Forecast, budgets and reporting management
- Operate in compliance with specific legislations and be always updated on the legal framework (e.g. antitrust)
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Strong and proven experience in multinational in pharma, medical devices or specialized nutrition companies (ideally at least 15 years experience)
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy and wholesalers' channels, distribution principles (e.g. parallel import, legal discount, allocated share) and the related legislations (e.g. budget laws, Abruzzo decree), tender framework (e.g. d.lgs 36/2023)
- Pricing and commercial portfolio mix knowledge, commercial attitude, customer orientation and strong negotiation skills
- Fluency in English
- Presentation and written communication skills
- Responsiveness and decision making
- Ability in working in cross-functional team, driving for results and quality orientation
- Data accuracy and management
- Time management and priority setting
