About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Cost Controller to join Finance in Jumeirah Capri Palace. The Cost Controller will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the hotel’s cost structure, ensuring financial efficiency across all departments, particularly in Food & Beverage operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of hospitality cost management.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Monitor and control all hotel costs, with a focus on F&B and operational expenses.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate stock records.
- Analyze consumption patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and F&B departments to ensure optimal procurement practices.
- Prepare and present cost reports, variance analyses, and forecasts to management.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Support month-end closing processes
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Legal right to work in Italy
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proven relevant experience in cost control and financial analysis
