About This Role
Global Commercial Fire, a business unit of Kidde Global Solutions, is seeking a talented, motivated, and energized Customer Service Representative.
This position is for a Customer Service Representative working under moderate supervision. The role involves supporting customer inquiries related to product availability, maintenance, and order status. The incumbent will develop foundational skills in executing established procedures, following detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include resolving basic customer service and billing issues, accurately obtaining and verifying customer details such as names, addresses, billing information, product numbers, and purchase specifications. The role requires maintaining and auditing records of customer interactions and ensuring data accuracy on order forms. The position demands moderate experience and judgment to handle moderately complex customer inquiries and tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality customer service under moderate supervision.
Obtain and review customer information (names, addresses, billing details), product numbers, and purchase specifications to ensure accuracy on order forms.
Respond to basic and moderately complex customer inquiries regarding product availability, maintenance, and order status.
Resolve basic customer service and billing complaints efficiently and professionally.
Maintain, audit, and update records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
Apply existing procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks reliably and consistently.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduation, preferably a Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Order Management, or Accounting Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or Operations.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and functions.
Experience in retail or consumer packaged goods industries.
Customer-facing experience with a focus on problem-solving, anticipating potential issues, and enhancing customer experience.
Adaptability to change and ability to reprioritize workload while maintaining high-quality output.
Experience establishing regional or global Order to Cash processes.
Strong organizational skills and self-direction to meet month-end reporting deadlines.
