Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the GCAP Technical Leadership UO, we are looking for a Technology Adoption & Change Management Analyst for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK).
The Technology Adoption & Change Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful adoption of new technologies and digital initiatives across the Joint Venture by designing and implementing effective business change management strategies and plans. This role reports to the Technology Adoption & Change Management Manager.
Key Capability Accountabilities and Objectives
- Support the development of a comprehensive business change management framework that supports the effective rollout and adoption of new technologies within the business.
- Support the Technology Adoption & Change Management Manager to implement specific business change management strategies and plans for the Digital Information function, this involves but is not limited to the rollout of new technology and/or within the business or Digital Information function, embedding new processes and ways of working within the Digital Information function.
- Execute business change management activities to enable the smooth adoption of new technologies or techniques, this includes but is not limited to conducting change impact assessments, managing change communications, delivering training programmes.
- Measure and monitor appropriate business change metrics (e.g., adoption rates) to track the effectiveness of business change activities, intervening as needed to ensure the adoption of new technologies and processes remain on track.
- Build a library of business change management templates and artefacts to accelerate future business change management activities.
- Design, develop, and publish comprehensive training materials to enable solution adoption, including but not limited to user guides, FAQs, video resources, and intranet articles.
- Develop and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process.
- Identify and mitigate key business change management risks which may impact the value of implementing new solutions (e.g., user resistance, change fatigue).
- Stay up to date with frameworks, methods, and standards for business change management in an IT context.
Objectives
- Support the development of business change management framework and library to accelerate technology/tooling adoption across the Joint Venture and Digital Information function.
- Support the Technology Adoption & Change Management Manager to deliver business change management activities to support the delivery of digital initiatives.
- Monitor metrics to determine the effectiveness of business change activities.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in a change management, technology adoption or training role within an IT context, evidenced through 2+ years’ experience.
- Proven ability to develop engaging and informative change management content in multiple formats – appropriately tailored by audience and purpose.
- Good understanding of how to define and measure the success of business change management activities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and ideate relevant intervention activities to keep business change activities on track.
- Good organisational skills organised with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Good command of the English language, including setting tasks and instructions, providing feedback, creating reports, documents, and other written materials.
Desiderable Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant Business Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG)
- Relevant Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE 2, PMP)
- Knowledge of core enterprise platform functions and their associated value (e.g., Microsoft 365, SAP S4 HANA).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change in scope / timelines
