Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.



Position:

The Deputy Venue Technology Manager (DVTM) supports the Venue Technology Manager (VTM) in the planning, implementation, and operation of all technology systems at the venue.

This role ensures the smooth setup, functionality, and performance of technology services by coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to meet the specific operational needs of the venue. The DVTM monitors ongoing activities, responds to service requests and incidents, and contributes to the resolution of technical issues to minimize disruptions.

In addition, the DVTM helps manage the allocation of technology resources, ensuring readiness and efficiency throughout the event lifecycle. They play a key role in maintaining consistent communication among technology teams and other functional areas, supporting the delivery of high-quality, integrated solutions.

By ensuring reliable and timely technology support, the DVTM contributes significantly to the overall success of the venue and its events.


Activities:


  • Venue Technology Setup – Install and configuretechnologyas per the Venue Technology Implementation Plan (VTIP).
  • Operational Readiness – Ensureall systems are tested and ready before the Games.
  • Complete theallocation of technology for allvenues, following the Technology EquipmentAllocation (TEAP).
  • On-Site Technology Operations and Support– Managedailytechnologyoperations and resolveissues, as per the Games Plan.
  • Reporting – Provide regular updates and reports to the Technology Operations Center (TOC).
  • Post-Event Decommissioning – Managedismantling and packing of technology, asoutlined in the VTIP.

  • Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines in adynamicenvironment.
  • ExcellentInterpersonal and Communication Skills – Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and managerelationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic Knowledge of Venue Technologies – Familiarity with technologyinfrastructuresuchastelecommunications, audio/video systems, and sports services.
  • Basic Proficiency in Office365 – Competence in using Word, Excel, and Teams for daily task management and communication.
  • Good Level of English – Ability to communicateeffectively in English in aprofessionalcontext.
  • Ability to Learn and Share Knowledge – Capacity to quicklyabsorb and convey information acquiredduring the journey to the Olympic Games.
